What I'm doing so Far

Short Animation of the journey through the leaf section of the slide

Tube Measurements:

Radius: 2
Height: 20
Subdivisions Height: 1
Subdivisions Caps: 5

Tube Design

The initial design for this section of the ride had the ‘vein’ tubes running on top of the leaf.

The original design was good but it did not fit the idea of the process of photosynthesis, whereas travelling through the veins of the leaf is closer to the movement of energy through the plant.

Notes on the inside of the tube:

The end of the tube running through the leaf section of the slide narrows in a pencil shape; just before this section there is a quick dip that takes the rider out of the larger tube and down into the pool.

The slide itself will be a transparent half-pipe shape and will be built inside a larger tube. There will be images of the structure of a leaf printed onto the inside of the larger tube. As you travel through the tube you will be able to see the imagery 360 degrees around you.

What I Have Lurnt About Photosynthesis

The process of photosynthesis is so borring and uninspiering to even make my mind contiplating what I have to do. Ever time I read about it I just wanna go to sleep because it so borring, but I read it anyway and here is what I have to from it.

The process of photosynthesis produces ATP from ADP and Pi by using the energy from light o excite electron transport chain. Coupled with the transfer of electrons is the pumping of hydrogen ions and the splitting of water molecules. That was taken from a video on you tube and went into more indepth about.
